John O'Grady at the DNC

John and his wife Pam traveled to Denver, Colorado to be apart of the 2008 Democratic National Convention. While he was there John got a chance to discuss the issues and policies affecting his constituents around Franklin County with other party officials from Ohio and around the country. During the week, John, Columbus City Councilmember Andy Ginther and other Ohio Democratic Party members hosted an elected officials caucus and convention watch party. It was a great success, thank you to all who attended.

When the 45th Democratic National Convention was called to order on Monday, August 25, 2008 in Denver, Colorado, it was the culmination of more than 24 months of formal planning by the Democratic Party to structure a nominating cycle and nominating Convention that represents the Party’s principles of openness, fairness and diversity. John is a proud supporter of Barack Obama and is excited to do his part in helping him win Franklin County and the rest of Ohio.
